Park Avenue Armory

This year, R & Company is pleased to announce that it will be presenting its selection of iconic works in one of the Park Avenue Armory’s esteemed 2nd Floor historical rooms, Booth 205, by Pottier & Stymus, establishing a visually captivating dialogue between historical space and dynamic design.

Read about the R & Company booth design in The New York Times.

Highlights of R & Company’s booth include Wendell Castle‘s monumental, organically-shaped Cabinet—a masterwork by the celebrated American woodworker; Joaquim TenreiroCadeira de Três Pés, a version of which is now on view in Crafting Modernity at the Museum of Modern Art; and Lina Bo Bardi‘s singular Bowl Chair, a cornerstone of Brazilian Modern Design.

These historical masterworks are displayed alongside new vessels in ceramic by two of the most acclaimed contemporary designers working today: Roberto Lugo and Katie Stout.
