Joaquim Tenreiro

R 20th Century is pleased to announce an in-depth exhibition on the work of Brazilian modernist furniture designer Joaquim Tenreiro, 12 November 2013 through 4 January 2014.

Curated by renowned international art dealer Gordon VeneKlasen, one of the leading collectors of Tenreiro’s work, and designed by critically acclaimed architect Annabelle Selldorf, the exhibition will endeavor to raise awareness of Tenreiro, who, while widely recognized domestically in Brazil, has just begun to gain international recognition.
