Jeff Zimmerman: Glass Light Nature

Manitoga / The Russel Wright Design Center and R & Company present Jeff Zimmerman: Glass Light Nature, a solo exhibition by the acclaimed glass artist in dialogue with the unique environments designed by Mary and Russel Wright.

Manitoga—the Wrights’ house, studio, and woodland garden—is a National Historic Landmark and one of the few twentieth-century modern homes in New York State open to the public. More than eighty years after its creation, the site continues to provide an inspiring context for presenting new creative voices, offering visitors a meaningful encounter with art in a sensitively designed setting.

For this exhibition, R & Company presents decorative and illuminated sculptures by Jeff Zimmerman. Known for his use of organic forms and natural patterns, Zimmerman brings movement, texture, and light into his glass works. Installed throughout Manitoga, these pieces amplify the dialogue between nature, the built environment, and the designed object, creating an exhibition where the boundaries between interior and exterior are thoughtfully blurred.
