Robert Pfannebecker: Friend and Collector of the Arts explores the prolific collector and patron’s extraordinary collection of American craft spanning from the 1960s to the early 21st century. Featuring 69 objects by 33 artists, including textiles, glass objects, ceramics, furniture, tableware, sculpture, and jewelry, the exhibition exemplifies the breadth and distinctive quality of American craft and highlight Pfannebecker’s forward-looking vision as a collector.  It also explores the friendships that Pfannebecker developed with many of these artists and his unwavering and influential support for their practices, from very early in their careers and into today.

Artists include: Fred Bauer, Helen Bitar, Dale Chihuly, Jun Kaneko, Marvin Lipofsky, Richard Marquis, Eleanor Moty, Ron Nagle, Thermon Statom, Henry Takemoto, Patti Warashina, Betty Woodman, and Don Wright, among others.
