R & Company maintains two dynamic spaces in the Tribeca neighborhood in New York City. Its inaugural space at 82 Franklin Street offers a rotating display of interior environments featuring R & Company-represented designers. Recognized as an important place of discovery, that space captures the incredible possibilities of shaping the personality, mood, and style of interiors through design. 64 White Street, which opened in 2018, features an active roster of solo and thematic exhibitions, as well as a Library and Archive that houses a collection of approximately 4,000 books, periodicals, catalogs, drawings, models, and other ephemera on design from 1900 to the present. The Library and Archive is an essential aspect of R & Company’s vision to capture the history of collectible design and serve as a resource for its international clientele and community.
In addition to groundbreaking onsite exhibitions, R & Company engages in a broad range of external programs. Meyers and Snyderman played integral roles in the creation and growth of Design Miami/, and continue to participate in multiple international art and design fairs each year. The R & Company team also works with collectors and interior designers and architects to curate living environments within private residences and commercial spaces. Meyers and Snyderman frequently participate in talks, panels, and other public engagements and aim to provide platforms for new voices.
R & Company is committed to expanding holdings of design within encyclopedic and contemporary museum collections across the globe. Meyers and Snyderman’s vision and passion for expanding the buying audiences for collectible design has driven the creation of a robust market and shaped the dialogues and study of design. Their gallery continues to serve as a critical platform for experiencing twentieth and twenty-first-century objects and for discovering innovative, rare, and significant design.
